Reflection on our capacity Experiment!

Reflection!

I was learning about capacity and what it is, capacity is weight and how much it can hold. I wondered how much a milk bottle could actually hold because it said 2 letres but it is actually 2 letres and 100 mls. I found out that a big pringles box can only hold 950 mls and a pringles box is huge! It was tricky because we had to get the measuring perfect and make sure it didn't have any over or under. I enjoyed working together in my group and filling up the containers and guessing the estimate mls or letres. I didn't enjoy nothing, i enjoyed everything who wouldn't enjoy experimenting with water! Instead of pouring the left over water that we had we poured it into the garden to keep the gardens alive and make sure they don't die.

Torbay School Report.

Walt: Write a report on Torbay School

A report needs a abundance of subject to write on in each paragraphs about 2 in each paragraph. It will need a introduction which is a statement to start the report it will need paragraphs on subjects and a statement called a conclusion to round the report off.

Torbay school is in East Coast Bays located on the North Shore overlooking Rangitoto island. Torbay School cater’s for year’s 0-6 children and has a variety of learning skills.

At Torbay School we have our cross country our year 5&6 Cross Country is held at long bay beach the year 5’s do a shorter Course than the year 6’s the people in the year groups.  The other years 4 and down do their Cross Country at School around the School. Cross Country is a fun day for everyone, for mums and dads to watch their kids run Cross Country and for the kids to have fun and enjoy it.Also Torbay School has BYOD, Byod stands for Bring Your Own Device. Byod its enjoyable for everyone to learn to do learning on devices it helps all of them to learn new things instead of getting your hands hurt and fingers tired using a pen and paper.

Torbay School has Opportunities to build confidence, such as a Student Leader and Road Patrol. A Student Leader is picked from a bunch of student’s that step up onto the stage and says a speech on why they think they would be a good student leader usually there is around 32 students that try out for it but only 20 gets picked every year. Road Patrol is a job that keeps our Students safe from the road instead of getting run over by a car every morning they will go out with their parent or teacher and put out the signs to help students travel over the roads safely and get top school. The way to get in is by doing a training course with Constable Wansink and you will learn how to do it. Then they will pick some students to do it and thats how you get in.

Torbay School has heaps of groups like Radio Station and Flip Crew. The Radio Station is a place in the library when you speak over the speaker and play songs and that stuff you will get trained for it but first you need to get picked by your Teacher to do it only some get in and some don't. The flip crew is a group that you can just join Mr Hayden is the one that made it. Mr Hayden trains them to do flips for future things that will just come up surprisingly.

Overall Torbay School is a great place for kids to come and learn new things and become a great human being. Torbay School isn't a regular School its a school that is fun and enjoyable for parents and children to come and learn something new every day!

This week i played hockey with my friends we won 3-1 to kings way i don't think they are a good team because all they did was whack it up the field and make it go out. On Tuesday all i did was stay at home and watch Fifa World Cup 2014 all afternoon i didn't do that much on Tuesday like nothing actually also i watched the hockey world cup. Today all iv'e done is be at school playing soccer kicking the ball around learning writing commenting playing music it's been a crazy day but this afternoon iv'e got soccer practice awww boring. I just wanna stay at home!
